I celebrate Thanksgiving with my host family. My host mom prepare traditional food, such as turkey, mash potato, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and apple cider. She put everyone's name card on the table to show us where to seat. When everyone ready, her son lead us to pray. During the meal, we share the thing that we appreciated to.
Christmas in 2012 will be the most unforgettable one in my life, I believed. There are 5 children in my second host family, therefore my host mom had to prepare tons of presents.
I join her preparation, went shopping, wrapped gifts and decorated Christmas tree. On that day, we opened the presents together, and I found out I got a pair of slipper! How sweet it was!! If I could I wish I could be an American kid!! In the afternoon their relatives all came to our house to celebrated together. The most surprising thing is that they used to order Chinese food as the Christmas meal, of course there was no exception. So I had a mix culture Christmas.
